Keeping track of progress on Vedanta University (proposed near Puri, Orissa, India)

London based NRI industrialist Anil Agarwal has created a Vedanta Foundation of $1 billion for setting up of an international university in India. Recently he signed an MOU with the Government of Orissa for setting up of this university about 6 kms from Puri on the Puri-Konark highway. This blog will watch out for developements on this project, point to documents on this project, and discuss them.

Updates: new web page; initial building design; CAO search

Vedanta University has unveiled a new web page since March 1 2007. It has a nice picture of the location of the university. I am told that the architects of the university have come up with a detailed design of the initial buildings. Also, the CAO search is going well and an announcement in this regard may be made in May 2007.
